its annual Silent Film Benefit. The event begins at ]
p.m. and takes place at the Avalon Theatre. Cost is
$12 for adults, $10 for members and children and tick-

18 The Avalon City Council meets at the Courthouse
at 7 p.m.
20 The Catalina Island Women's Forum and the
American Red Cross hosts its annual Blood Drive at the
Riviera Room between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. To make an

22 The Fdends of the Avalon Ubrary will host a book
sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m in front of the library.
