He didn't know when it would come and he didn't know the ship's name, but he said he expected the cruise line to make a decision soon. Griffin called the council's decision a win-win for everyone. "It's another 100,000 passengers," Griffin said. "Another $125,000 in wharfage fees for Avalon. It's millions of dollars for the com- munity." : According to Griffin, Carnival Cruises have been visiting Cata- lina for at least 20 years.
