PAGE TEN YHE CATALINA RESOLUTION No. A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AVALON, ORDERING CERTAIN STREET WORK TO BE DONE ON A PORTION OF MARILLA AVENUE IN THE CITY OF AV- ALON, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS CONTEMPLATED BY RESO- LUTION OF INTENTION No. 278 along both lines of the roadway of said Marilla Avenue between a line drawn across said Marilla Avenue distant ten (10) feet South- westerly from and para[lel with the Northeasterly line of Lot Thirty-eight (38), Block Thirty-three (33), of Town of Avalon, as per map recorded in Book Thirty-four (34) Page Sixty- seven (67), et seq., Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, prolonged Northwesterly coupon, on the second day of January every year after their date until the whole is paid; and the interest shall be payable semi-annually, by coupon, on the second days of Janu- ary and July, respectively, of each year, at the rate of seven (7) per cent per annum on all sums unpaid, until the whole of said principal and inter- est are paid. SECTION 2: All plans, profiles and cross-sections referred to in this Res- olution are on file in the office of the City Engineer of said City. All special specifications referred to in this Resolution are on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City of Avalon. All special specifications, plans, pro- files and cross-sections referred to in this Resolution were adopted for said work by Resolution No. 277 of the Board of Trustees of the City of Ava- lon, State of California, on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City. That the diagram or map indicating the boundary lines and the extent of the territory to be included in this as- sessment district, prepared by the City Engineer in accordance with Resolu- tion of Intention No. 278 of the Board of Trustees of the City of Avalon, on file in the office of the City Engineer of said City, is on file in the office of the City Engineer of said City of Av- alon. All of the plans, profiles, cross-sec- tions, special specifications, maps and resolutions herein above referred to are made a part hereof and expressly referred to herein for a more particu- lar description of-said work. SECTION 3: The Board of Trus- tees of the City of Avalon determines that serial bonds shall be issued to represent assessments of Twenty-five (,$25.00) Dollars or over for the cost of said work or improvement; said serial bonds shall extend over a period ending nine (9) years from and after the second day of January next suc- ceeding the date of said bonds, and an ..yen annual proportion of the princi- ml sum thereof shall be payable, by posted or on file. Said notice shall re- quire a certified check or bond or ei- ther as prescribed by law for an amount not less than ten (10) percent of the aggregate of the proposal. Said City Clerk is also directed to publish this Resolution for two days in the manner required by law in said r~ews- paper designated for that purpose as aforesaid.
