De'Ora sent us photos and information regarding the historic exploration process. "You will notice on the first photo, from the. Catalina Museum Archive, that it states that it is from 1892. Firstly, this means that it makes this photo the first known photo to be taken of the house," De'Ora said. "This was taken two years after it was built," he said. "Other photos found exhibit the actual construction work being done in 1890, but this is the first detailed picture." "If you look closely, there are two figures sitting in the cupola of the photo. This is debatably the only other known picture of Peter Gano," he said. "With a magnifying glass, it appears as though the accompa - nying figure has the chest of a woman.
