First place was taken by "Cara- bella 11," with Captain Dave Schaf- fer Second place was taken by "Dialed Inn," with Captain Randy Penington. Third place was taken by "No Problem" with Captain Gary Derousse. Fourth place went to "One Sea Dog" with Captain Victor Katrou with the largest hali- but weighing in at 27.2 lbs. Finally, fifth place was taken by "Bad At-" titude" with Captain Ron Whitaker with the largest Yellowtail weigh- ing in at 231bs. Meanwhile Brain Vanderderspek, on "Sabatical" won three of the tongue in cheek Buttuter awards. "Sabatical" was towed in multiple times by the Har- bor Department and once by Joe's Rent a Boat. "We want to gratefully thank all the anglers, the Avalon Harbor Department, the city of Avalon and the very many business, individu- als, contributors, sponsors and vol- unteers that made this one of the best Church Mouse tournament in history, " Butte said. \\; The Casino Ballroom hosted the 22nd Annual Church Mouse Invitational Marlin Tournament .on Tuesday as winners lined up with trophies and prizes filling the tables in front of the stage.
