This is primarily due to increases in the price SCE pays its suppliers for liquefied petroleum gas used to serve its customers at Santa Catalina Island. On July 20, 2000, SCE filed Advice 112-G With the California Pubfic Utilities Commission (Commission) requesting that this inc ased co= of fuel be passed on to customers. ,% If the Commission approves this advice filing, the following change in rates will become effective for service rendered on and after September 1, 2000. If this advice filingis approved by the Commission, the average residential customer's monthly bill will increase by approximately $11.16 or 17.9 percent in the winter, and $4.68 or 16.4 percent in the summer. However, the actual impact on your bill will vary depending on your energy use.
