Once again, the Monday Night Football books will be for sale. This year the money raised will be applied toward the sports complex improve- ments outstanding loan bal- ance. If you are not familiar with what these books are, or how it works, it really simple. First, you purchase a book for $25.00 from Misty Miller (296-3030). The number on the front cover of your book is the square you will be play- ing on the score grid for each game. Then you cheer on the teams. The last digit of both teams' scores determines the winners. An example is in- cluded below. Just so you know the grid of numbers at the top and along the side are different for every game so you won't always be stuck witha4 & 5 or a2 &9. You have two chances to win each game. You can win $25 based on the half time score, and $25 based on the final score. This year we are selling only 100 books, so be the first to get a book to make sure you can play along! If you played in the last year or two, you know that it makes watching football on Monday nights more interest- ing, especially if you are not a football fan. What is even better is that you don't even have to watch the game to win. You just have to pur- chase a book, and Misty will take care of getting money to you if you win. There are only 100 books for sale, and it is a first come first serve basis, but you can buy as many books as you would like. Please make sure to fill out the name and ad- dress portion on the front cover. Help support the im- provements to the sports com- plex, and have some fun at the same time! Here is how to play. Take the number from the front cover, We use 29. Find 29 in the field of 100 numbers, go left for Visitor's score, last digit is 3. From 29 go straight up to Home's score last digit 6.
