The fiscal year of the Post Of- fice ended at $28,963.88, up $2,7634.17 from 1935. Big- gest jump in parcel posts. There were 7,747 packages, up 800 from 1935, primarily due to the Catalina Clay Prod- ucts shipments. The 2nd Catalina-Manhattan-Her- mosa Beach Aquaplane Race took place. The winning time was 1 hour, 23 minutes, 23 seconds. Newly added lounge and smoking rooms on the Mezzanine level of the Casino. Jean Harlow and her mother were guests at the Casino to see her movie, Suzy.
