Twenty years ago On this day Annie and Billy were married on Catalina Island in a quiet ceremony officiated by Ken Putnam. The recommitment ceremony was coordinated on the sly by Annie with a little help from Ken, and was a complete surprise to Billy. Needless to say, smiles and tears were in order. Annie read from the original vows from their wedding, with slight modi- fications, that only 20 years of marriage can render. At the conclusion of the ceremony Ken Putnam announced them Billy and Annie Delbert, much to Billy's delight. Twenty-five guests toasted the couple and celebrated tPeir special day. Congratulations and here is to another 20more years. Please send us your favorite photo of yourself or the of another local Catalina couple to be included in the Catalina Islander.
