Bravo's Landscaping got on the board first with solo home runs from Nick Flores and Jorge Hernandez. Bluewater Grill answered back with an RBI tri- ple from Robert Reyes, who later scored. Defense ruled the next two innings. In te bottom of the fourth Bluewater Grill converted a walk into a run. In the fifth, Bluewater Grill continued their offense with an inside the park home run from Robert Reyes. A single was followed by a homerun from Brian Ramirez to collected two more. Bluewater Grill added two more to their lead in the sixth. Bravo's Landscaping got back on the board in the sev- enth when Ozzy Noriz hit a triple and scored. In the top of the eighth, the bats for Bravo's Landscaping woke up. Eight base hits, a double from Derek Moreno, a home run from Mario:Jimenez, and a key error to extend the inning added up to nine runs. A shell shocked Bluewater Grill could only answer with a home run from Robert Reyes in the bottom of the inning and fell short, with the score Bluewater Grill 9, Bravo's Landscaping 12. For Bluewater Grill, Robert Reyes was four for four. Dave Zeller, Sebastian Sanchez, Kenny Engel and Gilberto Gamboa all : ahad two hits Rich Heruandgz~ ] Brian Ramirez and Santiago J Martinez collected one hit. For WI Bravo's Landscaping, Nick Flores and Mario Jimenez collected three hits. With two hits were Joe Hernandez, Derek Moreno, Jorge Hernandez, Ozzy Noriz, Edmundo Vega and Mickey Mann. Frank Rojo collected one hit. Catalina Express took on Straight Up Builders in the second game. Catalina Express scored first with a lead off triple from JD Laflin who later scored. In the second, Catalina Express had three base hits, doubles from JD Laflin and Allan Vega and a triple from Joey Rail to bring home six more. Straight Up Builders tied it up in the bottom half of the inning. Five base hits, a double from Jose Cuevas (who was tagged out try- ing to stretch it to 3), and home runs from Josh Flynn and Weston Leonhardi brought home seven. Catalina Express regained the lead with a run in the third. Straight Up Builders took the lead back in the bottom of the inning with six runs. Justin Hernandez had a double during the rally. Catalina Express added three more runs in the fourth. Curtis Hall hit a double in that effort. In the bottom of the inning, Jose Cuevas hit an inside the park home run for the only Straight Up Builders score. Michael Rodriguez got two RBIs from his home run for Catalina Express in the fifth. Straight Up Builders kept it going with two RBIS for Sergio Rodriguez off his inside the park homerun. Tyson Farley hit a double and later scored for the third run of the inning.
