Editor's note: The following is the Avalon Sheriff's Station signifi- cant incidents report for the week of July 4 to July 10, 2018. All sus- pects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Many people who are arrested do not get prosecuted in the first place and many who are prosecuted do not get convicted. July 4 Happy 4th of July. Deputies arrested Zachary Kohout and Chelsea Karosas of Avalon on suspicion of trespassing at the historic chimes tower. The two had entered the fenced and restricted construction area and climbed the tower. July 5 An anonymous informant found narcotics while walking on Sumner Avenue. The,turned the narcotics in to deputy personnel at Avalon Station. With Capt.
