Sumner Avenue rock fountain remains as a tribute to Voci family COURTESY AVALON BEAUTIFUL ASSOCIATION The Avalon Beautiful Association is pleased to announce that the house of the month is 302 Sumner Avenue. Originally owned by Gaylin Schultz, it has been the happy home of the Voci family for well over 60 years. As a young married couple, Joe and Tina Voci slowly improved and renovated the inside of the house. The warm pine walls of the bathroom are still one of Tina's favorite enhancements. Joe was a man of all trades and the local residents soon discovered his many handyman talents. He was always working on a project at his house or a neighbor's and recycling building materials while collecting unique pieces of Catalina history.
