Bravo's landscaping and Lobster Trap win In the first game on a mild dez, Chuy Sillas, Tgmas Moreno, Thursday, May 10, night, Bravo s Gilberto Gamboa and Maria Reyes Landscaping took on The Sand all had two hits. Du ;tin Cookman Trap. Bravo's Landscaping jumped out to a big lead, scoring eight in the first. The Sand Trap answered back with two. In the second in- ning, Bart Glass made an amaz- ing over the shoulder catch to deny Edmundo Vega the hit. Bravo's Landscaping carried the momen- tum into the third, scoring one more run. The Sand Trap again answered back with two. Bravo's Landscap- ing got back on offense in the fourth, adding another ten runs to their total. The Sand Trap rallied for four runs. In the fifth and final inning, Dustin Cookman made a great stop at short stop to keep Carlos Hernandez to a single. Bra- vo's Landscaping was held to two runs. The Sand Trap had a big defi- cit to overcome, and couldn't quite do it. Two more runs scored for Sand Trap, ending the game with the score Sand Trap 10, Bravo's Landscaping 21. Straigh. t Up Builders opened the game with a run. The Lobster Trap answered back with two. Straight Up Builders added another run to their total before Cindy Morris made the great catch in right field to deny Isaac Felix. The Lobster Trap came out fir- ing in the second, Robert Reyes had an inside-the-park homer among the 11 hits. A total of 12 crossed the plate. The Lobster . Trap added three more in the third, one coming from Charles Nash's inside the park homer. Straight Up Builders got back on the board in the fourth with a three run shot from Isaac Felix, followed by a two-run homer from Steven Bray. In the bottom of the fourth, Cindy Morris hit an inside-the-park hom- er for The Lobster Trap. A total of three runs were home before time was called to end the game. Final score Straight up Builders 7, The Lobster Trap 20. For Straight Up Builders, Courtney Neary had three hits. Scottly Rohlafsen, Isaac Felix, Steven Bray and Eddie Arnold had two hits, while Porschia Den- ning contributed one hit. For The Lobster Trap, Mario Chavez and Charles Nash were both three for three. Robert Reyes, Jimmy Felix, Manny Hernandez, Sean Sterling, Aurora Felix, Brittanie Sapal and Cindy Morris all had two hits.
