The following is a summary of rescue boat activity by Baywatch Avalon and Baywatch Isthmus for the week of Wednesday, March 18 to Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Wednesday, March 18 Baywatch Isthmus crew attended lectures and gave an orientation presentation to the class members for the EDAM class being held at the Isthmus Hyperbaric Chamber. Thursday, March 20 12:10 p.m.--Baywatch Avalon responded to an emer- gency medical service call. The crew responded to Avalon Fire Station for a still alarm. There, the crew found a male patient with a medical complaint. The patient was assessed, treated and transported to the local hospital for further evaluation and care. 2:49 p.m.--Baywatch Avalon responded to an emergency medi- cal service call for a patient in a golf cart that had rolled over. The patient was assessed, treated and transported to the local hospital for further evaluation and care. Friday, March 21 3:45 p.m.--Baywatch Isthmus responded with E155 and the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department to Big Fisherman Cove for a report of a fire alarm. Cause found to be food burned on stove. All units cancelled. 8:06 p.m.--Baywatch Isthmus responded to an emergency medi- cal service call call, for report a male injured. The patient was treated and released. Saturday, March 22 12:50 p.m.--Baywatch Isthmus responded to an emer- gency medical service call call, person injured.
